Guest Services
DOORS / LOBBY OPEN
For most events, doors to the lobby generally open one-hour prior to the event’s start time. Doors to the auditorium generally open 30 minutes prior to the event’s time. Doors/lobby open time may vary by performance.
RE-ENTRY
Tickets will only scan once at the door for entry. Re-entry is not permitted.
ATTIRE
While the Cascade Theatre has no official dress code, guests wearing excessively revealing, profane or disparaging clothing may be denied entry. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
The theater has two concession areas and bars where light snacks, soft drinks, bottled water, beer, wine and mixed drinks may be purchased. Outside food and drink is not permitted. We follow the California Alcoholic Beverage Control guidelines of only serving one alcoholic beverage to a patron at a time. All guests purchasing, consuming, or in possession of alcohol should be prepared to show ID at any time regardless of age or be wearing an official Cascade Theatre wristband indicating they have had their ID checked. Food and beverages policy is subject to change by the theatre and may be updated without notice.
HEARING ASSISTANCE & EARPLUGS
The Cascade Theatre is equipped with a hearing assistance system. Listening devices may be checked out by leaving your ID with the box office or House Manager. The theater also has Hearing Induction Loop technology. Guests with compatible hearing aids should set them to the “T” or “Telecoil” setting to use this hearing assistance without need of checking out a device.
Conversely, should the concert or event prove too loud to be comfortable, complimentary earplugs are available from any usher.
WILL CALL
If you have been told your tickets are at “will-call”, this means that your tickets will be available for pick up at the theater’s Will Call desk (location identifiable by signage) on the day of show. Will Call opens one hour prior to the start of the event or when lobby doors open for your event. A valid photo ID is required to pick up Will Call tickets.

Theater Etiquette
NO ELECTRONICS
Out of courtesy for performers and other patrons, ALL usage of ALL electronics during the performance is prohibited. Lighted screens in a dark theater are very obtrusive. Check in, and then turn it off!
CAMERAS, AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDERS
Photographing or recording shows is strictly prohibited. Violation may result in confiscation of your equipment.
NOISE/TALKING
The Cascade’s great acoustics work both ways. Your voice carries as well as the performers. Please refrain from talking during the performance and unwrap cough drops and tissues before the show, at intermission, or during scene changes.
INFANTS/CHILDREN
Children should be able to remain quietly in their own seat for the duration of the performance. For this reason, children under 5 are discouraged except for programming specifically presented for this age range. Each person, aged 3 years and older, must have a ticket.
NO STANDING/DANCING IN BALCONY AND LOGE
For safety in the steep balcony areas and for the enjoyment of others, we encourage those who may wish to stand or dance to purchase seats on the main floor Orchestra level.
LET OTHERS ENJOY THE SHOW, TOO
Any behavior that infringes on the ability of other patrons to enjoy the show or of the performers to safely deliver the performance is grounds for ejection. Please enjoy the show being courteous of those around you.
YOU ARE BEING PHOTOGRAPHED:
Please be advised that the Cascade Theatre may film or take still photos at any event at the venue for venue promotional, marketing, security or archival uses. If you attend, you may appear in these images and by attending agree to any such appearance and our use of your image without compensation in any media now existing or later created. Please do not attend if you do not wish to appear.

Safety
All guests are subject to search of their person and possessions – including jackets, coats, bags of a normal size (which may be allowed entry after examination). Guests with prohibited items will be asked to dispose of those items or return them to their vehicle before being allowed entry. Any guest refusing a search will not be allowed entry. No refunds will be given for refusing a search. No storage or check-in of prohibited items is available.
WHAT TO LEAVE HOME
For the safety and consideration of all our guests, you may be refused entry if you are in possession of prohibited items including, but not limited to, the following.

Accessibility
The Cascade Theatre welcomes guests of all abilities.
STAIRS & ACCESSIBLE SEATS
- All seats, restrooms, box office and concessions on the main Orchestra Level are accessible entirely without any stairs.
- Because the Cascade Theatre is an historic building with no elevator, all seats, restrooms, and concessions on the Balcony or Loge Levels can only be reached via a full flight of stairs. “Accessible Only By Stairs” is clearly indicated on each such seat during the online purchase process.
- Wheelchair, Transfer Seats and their Companion Seats are clearly indicated during the sales process. These seats are reserved only for those needing those seats’ accessibility features until 30-minutes prior to show time or when all other seats are sold out. There are no seats, only spaces, in marked wheelchair locations. Guests purchasing those seats who do not need the accessibility features do so in violation of the theater’s policy and the law. Purchases found to be suspect will be canceled without refund.
SERVICE ANIMALS
- Trained service dogs (as defined by Title II & Title III of the ADA) are welcomed on leash or harness. Please let staff know upon arrival with your service dog.
- Because some shows use the aisle for actor or dancer entrances and to allow guests and staff safe egress, the aisles must be kept clear at all times and your service dog at your seat.
- Guests with service dogs that are not well-behaved or endanger others will be asked to leave.
- For the safety and comfort of our guests and staff, pets and therapy animals are not permitted.
WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS & MOBILITY DEVICES
- Wheelchair spaces in the historic Cascade Theatre are available in several locations on the main Orchestra Level floor. As an historic building, some ramps are steeper than normal, so please use caution in reaching your seats. Wheelchair accessible seating and companion seats are clearly marked on the seat map during the ticket sales process.
- Due to the theater’s limited space, walkers and other mobility devices will need to be stored when not in use. Please ask an usher for assistance.
- For your safety and that of other guests, Segways and other fast-moving or large motorized devices cannot be accommodated due to the theater’s limited space and congested aisles and lobbies.
HEARING ASSISTANCE & EARPLUGS

- The theater also has Hearing Induction Loop technology. Guests with compatible hearing aids should set them to the “T” or “Telecoil” setting to use this hearing assistance without need of checking out a device.
- Conversely, should the concert or event prove too loud to be comfortable, complimentary earplugs are available from any usher.
INTERPRETED PERFORMANCES

These seats are reserved only for those needing sign interpretation services and their companions until 30-minutes prior to show time or when all other seats are sold out.
