Redding City Ballet Presents The Nutcracker
12/08/23 - 12/09/23

Share in this North State holiday tradition as Tchaikovsky’s timeless score takes Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on a journey through sparkling snowflakes to the land of dancing sweets. From stunning costumes and a beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy to toy soldiers, waltzing flowers, and an evil Rat Queen, this enchanting ballet will sweep you up in the delight of the holiday season. Redding City Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker features all local dancers.

Redding City Ballet is Redding’s premiere not-for-profit dance company dedicated to increasing access to the arts through instruction and education for school-age children and bringing high quality performances to our community. All revenue from donations and sales are invested in expanding access to dance education and performance in our community. Our newest initiative, Chance2Dance, provides tuition scholarships to low-income dancers with passion and potential for dance so that they can study at the local dance studio of their choice. Visit our website for more information.

Join us in the Upstairs Lobby after the matinee to meet some of your favorite Nutcracker characters and enjoy some treats from the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Land of Sweets!
(Sugar Plum Tea Party will only be held after the 1:00 PM matinee of The Nutcracker)
