CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF THE CASCADE THEATRE SINCE ITS RENOVATION AND REOPENING!
Two free and general admission events will be held on this special Saturday, October 26.
The Theatre opens at noon for our first event – The Wizard of Oz! This is the first film shown in the Cascade Theatre when it reopened in 2004! Not only will we show this iconic film, but you will also see a yellow brick road, special details in the lobby, and we will have a costume contest; so come dressed as your favorite character! Photo opportunities with characters
from the movie, and special guests from Cascade’s production of the Wizard of Oz will be available too. This will be a fun-filled event. The movie showing starts at 1:00 p.m.
Our second free general admission event begins with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for you to visit our concessions for snacks and drinks. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Our free evening concert features two fabulously talented local bands: Dirty the Queen and Danger Kitty. You may have heard their music around town but never in the amazing and iconic Cascade Theatre. Continuing the festivities of the Wizard of Oz, we encourage folks to come dressed for Halloween. We will be hosting a costume contest in the evening.
Our neighborhood eateries and bars are very important to us and the vitality of Downtown. Visit participating restaurants and businesses the week leading up to the event for a free raffle entry (one entry per location visited). This will enter you into a drawing for fun prizes!
Don’t miss the opportunity to Celebrate20 at the Cascade Theatre. We are proud to be the historic Cascade Theatre serving our community with amazing artists, dancers, comedians, and more!
